iPhone and iPad Development
The arrival of Apple’s iPhone and iPad has ushered in a new era of mobile computing that has us at Kenmore Design very excited.
As a group of designers and software engineers, we were naturally quite eager to work with a new platform, and we’re happy to add iPhone and iPad app development to our list of services.
There are three ways to approach development on iOS:
- Native iOS development
- Web iOS development
- Hybrid iOS development
There are advantages and disadvantages to each approach. The first thing we do when we design a new app is consider each.
|Programming Languages||Objective C, C, C++||HTML + server side||Combination of both|
|App Store Submission||YES||NO||YES|
|App Speed||FULL||Depends on connection speed||Faster than Web, but depends on connection speed|
|Integration with iOS services and APIs||FULL||PARTIAL||FULL|
|OpenGL and graphics freedom||FULL||PARTIAL||PARTIAL|
|Integration with web services||YES||YES||YES|
Kenmore Design builds apps that integrate with existing services such as Real Estate, E-Commerce, file sharing, and social apps.
As a web design company, we know all the web services there are, so we excel at developing “wired apps” that connect to other services.
We love building iOS app user experience (UX) as much as we love our other design work! Kenmore Design ensures your app goes through Apple’s approval service.
Finally, Apple has released the long-awaited iBooks Author. Kenmore Design can help you put together a book for sale in Apple Book Store. Read more about publishing books in the iBooks store on our website.
